Everything you'd expect — servers, channels, DMs, voice and video — but it lives on a machine we run ourselves, not someone else's cloud.
We operate the chat service on hardware we own. Your group can use it in a browser without setting up a server.
We never sell your data, and ads never appear inside your conversations. The privacy page lists what is stored and every outside provider we use.
No paid tiers, no premium, no "boosts." The developer pays for the hardware and internet; optional ads in shared activities help cover it.
The full chat stack — plus a couple of things most chat apps don't have, like an AI that runs on the server itself.
Text and voice channels, categories, direct messages and group chats — the structure you already know your way around.
Hop into a call with screen sharing on desktop. Calls connect reliably, even on locked-down home and mobile networks.
Ask a question or draft a message with a model running on disdroc's own hardware (llama.cpp), without an external AI API. Prompts and replies are stored as chat messages.
Create as many roles as you need and pick exactly what each can do — or keep it simple with a single admin role. Your call.
Trusted devices that won't sign you out when you travel, email two-factor codes, an 18+ gate and click-to-reveal blur on explicit media.
Use it in any browser, install the native Android app with real incoming-call notifications, or grab the desktop app for Windows and Linux.
Before moving your conversations, know where they go. We store messages and files on hardware we operate. Private chats can be end-to-end encrypted, per chat and only if you turn it on. Community channels are not, and the website uses outside providers. Read the details before you join.
